The Story of Rum, Exile and a Family
A 60-year old story. A family legacy. A stolen rum empire. These are the ingredients of AMPARO – an immersive theatre experience designed to tell a complicated story and build an emotional connection with HAVANA CLUB rum.

Join PRSA Miami for a panel event to learn how PR and marketing created buzz to deliver a 100% sold-out show over eight months. Dubbed “the hottest ticket in town” by People en Español, AMPARO was the winner of AdWeek’s 2019 Best Experiential Activation by a Spirits Brand.

6:00-7:00PM - HAVANA CLUB Cocktails and light bites

7:00 - 8:00PM - Panel discussion with the minds behind AMPARO & Q&A

Panelists include: Chris Ha, Brand Manager for HAVANA CLUB; Michael Sheehan Account Director at TEAM Enterprises; David Naranjo, Managing Principle at RockOrange; and Vanessa Garcia, playwright of AMPARO. The panel will be moderated by Jessica Merz, Global Director of Corporate Communications for Bacardi, which produces the real HAVANA CLUB.
