The PRSA NextGen Mentorship Program is a new mentorship and networking initiative designed to connect emerging communications professionals with experienced public relations leaders across South Florida. Developed by PRSA Miami, the program creates meaningful professional relationships while supporting career growth and industry engagement.

Unlike traditional self-matching programs, PRSA NextGen offers a structured, cohort-based experience with intentional mentor-mentee matching, guided goal setting, networking opportunities, and ongoing support throughout the program.

Who Is It For?

Emerging Professionals & Students

Whether you're a PRSSA member, recent graduate, or early-career communications professional, this program is designed to help you build connections, gain career insights, and develop meaningful professional goals.

Mentors
Experienced communications professionals with five or more years of industry experience are invited to share their expertise, support the next generation of leaders, and help strengthen South Florida's communications community.

What Participants Can Expect

Participants will be matched through a structured intake process that considers professional interests, goals, experience, and availability.

Monthly one-on-one check-ins over six months
Goal-setting and progress tracking
Networking and engagement opportunities
Mentorship resources and toolkits
Midpoint community check-in
End-of-program celebration and recognition

Sponsorship Opportunities
