AI In Public Relations Strategy and Tactics: Are you prepared for the ethical challenges? -- CANCELE

In September, PRSA is dedicating the month to Ethics, and the Miami Chapter is partnering with the Greater Fort Lauderdale chapter to present a unique program that delves into the ethical aspects of Chat GPT and Generative AI.

Ethical concerns are taking center stage with the increasing adoption of artificial intelligence. While AI offers the promise of streamlining various aspects of public engagement, it also brings a range of ethical challenges to the forefront. These ethical considerations include misinformation, bias, opacity, privacy concerns, data security, and potential negative societal impacts.

At our upcoming in-person meeting this month, you'll have the opportunity to gain insights into responsible AI usage, ensuring it aligns with robust ethical communication strategies.

During the discussion, we will delve into several key areas:
1.    Integrating AI in Public Relations: This includes applications like chatbots, content creation, data analysis, media monitoring, and the critical task of mitigating potential ethical complications.
2.    Effective Communication of AI Use: We will explore how to effectively implement AI in public relations, focusing on maintaining trust and averting misunderstandings.
3.    Leveraging Ethical Resources: Discover how to utilize resources like the PRSA Code of Ethics to guide your ethical decision-making processes and behavior in AI-driven public relations.

Join us this month to deepen your understanding of responsible AI utilization and its harmonious integration with ethical communication practices.
